Southeast Massachusetts Scholastic Chess League

In 2018, SENECA will organize and run the Southeast Massachusetts Scholastic Chess League (SEMASCL). The SEMASCL consists of teams from schools in southeast Massachusetts and gives students the opportunity to play chess against other students in the spirit of healthy competition.

The SEMASCL is broken into three separate leagues: elementary school (grades K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). The League will begin in early to mid-January.

All of the SEMASCL rules for the 2018 season can be found here: Southeast MA Scholastic Chess League Rules 2018.

If your school is interested in joining the Southeast MA Scholastic Chess League, please contact SEMASCL Director Benjamin Swiszcz at benswiszcz@yahoo.com or SEMASCL Organizing Coordinator Joe Martin at joemartin@commonsensechess.com.
