SENECA will be hosting the 79th New England Open in Newton, MA, on Labor Day Weekend. We invite players of all ages to participate in one of our 3-day, 2-day, or scholastic sections!

Other Information
1. There is no 2-day schedule for the Championship Section.
2. The Championship Section is FIDE rated and uses FIDE rules.
3. Free entry to GMs and IMs.
4. New England champion title to the highest-scoring New England resident or student in each section.
5. Unrated prize limits: $200 in U2000, $150 in U1800, $100 in U1600, cannot win title except in the Championship Section.
6. Official September USCF ratings will be used. Unofficial ratings are usually used if otherwise unrated.
7. Please bring chess sets and clocks. No equipment will be provided.
8. Note: parking in the garage next to the hotel is free on Saturday and Sunday, $20 on Monday.
9. Cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee.
