[Online] Scholastic Quick #18

SENECA is hosting a free online scholastic quick-rated tournament on Sunday, October 18, via chess.com. The tournament is for players in grades K-12. Active USCF membership is required. This tournament will be held in the afternoon at 1:00 PM.

Format:
4SS, G/15 + 3 inc. (quick-rated)

Sections:
1000+ rating section (based on chess.com rating)
U1000 rating section (based on chess.com rating)

Online at chess.com

Entry Fee:
Free

Start Time:
1:00 PM. Please make sure you join the event before then. Note that this is an afternoon tournament.

Registration:
Please complete steps 1 and 2:
1. Join the SENECA Scholastic group on chess.com via these instructions. (This can be done ASAP.)
2. Join the tournament no later than 12:50 PM the afternoon of the event via these steps.

Round Times:
First round at 1:00 PM. Others ASAP.

Note:
1. Active USCF membership is required.
2. A chess.com account is also required, but this can be created for free.
3. We need a minimum number of players (2x the number of rounds) in each section to run the tournament.
4. The tournament will have two USCF-rated sections. There will be no unrated online sections.
5. Players who have already joined the SENECA Scholastic group on chess.com need not do so again when registering for a subsequent tournament. Simply join the tournament online the day of the event.
6. When requesting to join the SENECA Scholastic group on chess.com, please be sure to complete this form. We will only add players to the group after they have completed that form.
